Folks, the old adage "you get what you pay for" precisely describes the scenario with herbal vaporizers. Chances are you've reached this website by searching for the Best Vaporizer on the market, not the cheapest or most affordable, but the overall best. If you've shopped for a vaporizer before then you've probably seen how there are very cheap units and very expensive units to choose from, and their differences are sometimes not very obvious. Well, I too was on this search once and all of my research lead me to the conclusion that the Volcano Vaporizer by Stors & Bickel is by far the best herbal vaporizer you can buy.

Having owned the Vapir One handheld vaporizer for two years before buying the Volcano, I can say that the difference between these units is night and day. The Volcano vaporizer is the Bentley of all vaporizers. I do not condone or promote any illegal activities but it is hard to ignore the fact that this is the best marijuana vaporizer or weed vaporizer money can buy.

There are a few different models of the Volcano available for purchase. First, you need to choose between the Volcano Classic and the Volcano Digit. The only difference here is that the Digit is a digital vaporizer and displays the current/set temperatures on a bright LED display on the front. The Classic simply has a temperature dial in the front that ranges from 1-9 and you just turn the knob to your desired temp. The instruction manual gives you a chart showing an estimate of what the temperature of each number is, so I personally believe it is not necessary to spend the extra money on the Digit because it is fairly simple to get the correct temperature with the Classic.

Next you need to choose whether you want the Easy Valve kit or the Solid Valve kit. These kits include the balloons and mouthpieces you need to actually use the device. The Easy Valve kit is extremely simple to setup and use, and appears to be much simpler than the Solid Valve kit. I guess that's where the 'Easy' part comes from... With the Easy Valve you literally only have to snap a few pieces into place to start your session and switching between filling up the balloons and hitting the vapor is easy as pie. With the Solid Valve kit you get to determine the size of the balloons you want to use, because you put it together yourself. You basically get a big roll of balloon that you cut down to size and clamp into the mouthpiece. Either kit works great but for greater simplicity go with the Easy Valve.

So how much is it? Ok, the Volcano is not cheap, but hopefully you've already accepted that. Storz & Bickel enforces what is called MAP pricing on the Volcano which makes the marketplace a fair playing ground. This means that every company that is authorized by Storz & Bickel to sell the Volcano has to charge the same price. The true price of the Volcano Classic is $539.00, which includes your choice of either valve kit and usually includes free shipping. The Volcano Digit is $669.00, and this also includes either valve set and free shipping.

There are millions upon millions of daily smokers in the United States today. The topic of whether or not tobacco and other herbal products should be consumed is highly debatable, but for those who continue to puff away on a regular basis anyway there is an alternative method of consumption that is a much lower health risk than smoking.

People have been smoking all types of herbs and plants for thousands of years but the method of vaporization is fairly new and is just starting to become more popular. Herbal vaporizers were invented as an alternative means for consuming various herbs. The act of smoking is known to be bad for your health and there is a high risk of developing cancer, emphysema and many other conditions after years and years of smoke inhalation.

The purpose of a vaporizer is to release the active ingredients of an herb without combusting the material and making smoke. Every herb has a specific temperature at which the materials are combusted and the active ingredients, along with many carcinogens and tar, are released. A vaporizer is designed to heat an herb to a temperature below at which it would combust, which releases the active ingredients of the substance into a water vapor. The water comes from inside the herb and when it is vaporized it is released along with the active elements. The benefit of vaporizing is that the herb is never burned or combusted so over 95% of the tar and carcinogens normally released when smoking are not released in the vapor.

The other function of a vaporizer, besides heating the herb to the ideal temperature, is to catch the vapor for easy inhalation. There are many vaporizers on the market and each has its own method of capturing the vapor, but the best herbal vaporizer gathers the vapor into a bag or balloon that you then detach and inhale from.

Vaporizing can take a little while to get used to, especially if you're a heavy smoker, but the reduced health risks cannot be ignored and herbal vaporizers are sure to become increasing popular in the years ahead. Plus, if you just don't care about being healthy vaporizers cut down on the amount of herb needed to feel an effect, so you'll save plenty of money also.

The Best Vaporizer Temperature For Marijuana/THC Vaporization Is...

The best vaporizer temperature for marijuana/thc vaporization is approximately 365°F (185°C), but is better thought of as a range between 355°-385°F (180°-195°C). The quality of your herbs and the type of vaporizer you're using have a big effect on what temp setting you should use. Each vaporizer generates heat differently and most have a slight temp fluctuation during use. Ideally what you want is a nice medium-density vapor for optimal taste and effects.

As you increase the vaporization temperature past certain thresholds the various terpenoids found in cannabis are released. This is why your vapor will taste different when vaped at 350° than it does at 385°. My recommendation is to experiment yourself to find what temps suit you best. Start out low and slowly increase the temperature until you reach your desired level of strength and flavor.

Studies have shown that once you go over roughly 400°F some toxins may begin releasing into the vapor, and you'll probably start to get an unpleasant taste from your herbs, so it is recommended to refrain from raising your vaporizer's temp past that point.

The Volcano Vaporizer (my personal fave) is best set at about 6 on the dial, or roughly 374°F (190°C). When you factor in the temp flux of the heating element (+/- 9°F) your actual vape temps will be between 365°-383°F (185°-195°C) as it cycles on and off. The digital model is slightly more precise with a flux of only 2.7°F. Lately I've been experimenting with increasing the temperature past 6 after the first balloon, but it's all personal preference so see what works best for you.

The Extreme-Q seems to work well set between 383°-392°F. Because of the way this vape is designed the temp up where the herbs actually get vaped will be slightly lower than the core heater temp. I guesstimate the true vape temp to be roughly 20 degrees lower which brings you down into the ideal vape zone.

On the other hand, the Vapir NO2 is the opposite and in my opinion runs hot, so I've found the ideal temp setting to be between 350°-355°F. If you put it any higher than that you might overheat your herbs and get a burnt/funky taste.

The Magic-Flight Launch Box doesn't have a heat setting so you need to determine how long to keep the batteries engaged yourself. Taking small, quick draws is usually the most efficient way to use this vape and this method helps keep the temp from getting too high inside the chamber.
